Conditions of access
a) Students who have completed a 1st cycle/degree in Biomedical Sciences are admitted to candidacy; Biology; Marine biology; Biotechnology; Biochemistry; Pharmaceutical Sciences.
b) Other graduates with a 1st cycle/degree in related areas are admitted to candidacy, subject to curricular evaluation by the of the Master's Course Committee in Biomedical Sciences - Disease Mechanisms.
c) For candidates under the conditions of the previous points, the Course Committee for the Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences - Mechanisms of Diseases may impose the Option subjects that students must take to fill training gaps. In cases
exceptional, students may be required to take extracurricular subjects if their training does not include some of the
scientific areas considered essential for the master's degree.
d) Candidates without the Cellular Biology curricular unit indicated in the qualifications certificate may be excluded if the other training do not complement this lack.
Criteria for selection of the candidates
The course direction will select candidates according to the average obtained in the 1st cycle/degree and other elements presented in the resume. Candidates may be required to attend an interview.
